Matty, despite having three thousand people screaming at him at once, was a talkative sweetheart. The show was a whole experience, with the focus on music and other components like lights, smoke, and set pieces balancing each other out. It was not like most shows where the band is the main focus.
Seeing John Waite in September at a sort-of festival with many other bands, it was evident he hadn't wanted to be there before, but on his own tour, he had more fun this time around. This show was more thought out.
It was amazing to see his vision for the entire album come alive, rather than just listening to the music on a recording. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I'd go again a thousand times.
